{"id":10029,"date":"2025-10-29T10:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T10:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/?p=10029"},"modified":"2025-10-29T10:22:34","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T10:22:34","slug":"2026-announcement-joseph-smith-switches-to-virtuosi-racing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/2026-announcement-joseph-smith-switches-to-virtuosi-racing\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 Announcement: Joseph Smith switches to Virtuosi Racing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joseph Smith has joined Virtuosi Racing for his first full season in Wera Tools British F4 in 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 16-year-old from Cambridgeshire impressed in his first year in single seaters, competing in the final four rounds of the 2025 championship with Hitech TGR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His highlight came at Silverstone National where he clinched a Rookie win and a best-placed race finish of sixth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joseph showcased his ability to adapt quickly, making a strong transition from Ginetta Juniors \u2013 where he was running fourth in the standings before switching to British F4 \u2013 and the team is confident that his skill, determination and rapid development will make him a strong contender next year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mark Salmon, Team Manager: \u201cI am delighted to welcome Joseph into our team for the 2026 season. We have been testing since the end of the 2025 season, and he has really impressed me with his speed and attitude.
