{"id":1938,"date":"2022-10-08T15:01:40","date_gmt":"2022-10-08T14:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiaformula4.com\/?p=1938"},"modified":"2022-10-08T15:01:40","modified_gmt":"2022-10-08T14:01:40","slug":"alex-dunne-provisionally-secures-2022-rokit-british-f4-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/alex-dunne-provisionally-secures-2022-rokit-british-f4-title\/","title":{"rendered":"Alex Dunne provisionally secures 2022 ROKiT British F4 title"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Hitech GP\u2019s Alex Dunne has provisionally secured the 2022 ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA after confirmation of the results from qualifying at Brands Hatch.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.fiaformula4.com\/content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-7B1A6284-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1939 lazyload\" width=\"1133\" height=\"756\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1133px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1133\/756;\" \/><figcaption>Photo: Jakob Ebrey Photography<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Irishman leads nearest rival Ollie Gray (Carlin) by 102 points heading into the final three races of the season around the Kent circuit\u2019s 2.4-mile Grand Prix layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Gray qualifying second behind pole man Joseph Loake (JHR) in this morning\u2019s session, the maximum score left available to him is 76 points, should he win all three races with fastest lap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dunne, who took a record-breaking eleven victories, a further six podium finishes and five pole positions after a stellar campaign, is therefore declared the provisional 2022 champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat an honour it is to be announced as the 2022 ROKiT British F4 Champion,\u201d said an elated Dunne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a really incredible year this year with Hitech GP, breaking the record for most wins in a single season.
