{"id":1966,"date":"2022-10-12T17:58:55","date_gmt":"2022-10-12T16:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiaformula4.com\/?p=1966"},"modified":"2022-10-12T17:58:55","modified_gmt":"2022-10-12T16:58:55","slug":"rokit-british-f4-esports-championship-confirms-exciting-roster-of-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/rokit-british-f4-esports-championship-confirms-exciting-roster-of-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"ROKiT British F4 Esports Championship confirms exciting roster of partners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Six industry-leading brands have pledged their support to the upcoming 2022 ROKiT British F4 Esports Championship, which kicks off at a virtual Donington Park this Friday [14 October].<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.fiaformula4.com\/content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1967 lazyload\" width=\"1134\" height=\"638\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-600x338.png 600w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Esports-P_01.png 1920w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1134px) 100vw, 1134px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1134px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1134\/638;\" \/><figcaption>Photo: Motorsport UK<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Britain\u2019s FIA Formula 4 series will enter the sim racing arena, with 12 teams set to battle it out for a share of a \u00a36,000 prize pool, plus a fully sanctioned Motorsport UK British Esports title and a spot at Night of Champions for the overall champion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now, with confirmation of the series\u2019 exciting rosters of partners, also comes the announcement of several new prizes set to be contested over six events, and 12 action-packed races live on RaceSpot TV\u2019s YouTube channel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel with the real-world series,&nbsp;<strong>ROKiT<\/strong>&nbsp;have been confirmed as the Title Partner, and will provide prizes including an E-Mountain bike for the champion.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will also be represented on the grid with their Racing Star team, and the hugely successful talent scouting programme will soon deliver its first two winners, Deagen Fairclough, and Monica Boulton Ramos, into real-world competition with paid-for places on the 2023 ROKiT British F4 grid.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simulator hardware company&nbsp;<strong>Simucube<\/strong>&nbsp;also join the roster as an Official Partner, and for the winner, a Simucube Pro 2 wheelbase is up for grabs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simucube\u2019s mission statement is to \u2018challenge the norm\u2019, consistently setting new benchmarks for the industry with their durable, ethically produced, high-performance equipment, developed in symbiosis with the sim racing community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the goal of creating memorable sim racing experiences, the Finland-based organisation\u2019s drive to reach even greater heights made them the perfect partner at this, an exciting chapter in Motorsport UK\u2019s fledgling Esports strategy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Such is the regard in which Simucube is held, Motorsport UK Academy uses them at the governing body\u2019s Bicester HQ when training the next generation of promising British talents as part of their simulator programmes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Base Performance Simulators<\/strong>&nbsp;already support ROKiT British F4 through their state-of-the-art Formula 4 simulator in Banbury, and will extend that to Esports, with three days \u2013 two to the winning team, one to second place \u2013 on offer, complete with a driver coach and an engineer for the sessions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also offering simulator time are the&nbsp;<strong>Virtual Reality Racing Club (VRRC)<\/strong>. Based at Silverstone, just a stone\u2019s throw away from the home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, the VRRC are putting forward six hours of simulator time at their new facility to the team finishing third, and the top three drivers will receive an hour of online coaching apiece.
