In today\u2019s ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA Donington Park qualifying, Rodin Carlin\u2019s Noah Lisle set the two fastest lap times, securing him the qualifying lap record and pole position for races one and three. Initially team-mate Louis Sharp had set the pole time but a red flag at the very end of his lap led to his time being disallowed. Noah, from Perth Australia, will start from the back of the grid under the new full-reverse grid format for race two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rodin Carlin squad made it a triple, with Louis Sharp setting second, and Dion Gowda third fastest times respectively for both conventional-grid races. Daniel Guinchard (Chris Dittmann Racing) took his place on the second row with the Fortec Motorsport pair of James Higgins and Aiden Neate on row three for Race One. Row three for Sunday\u2019s third ROKiT British F4 race sees Virtuosi Racing\u2019s Aqil Alibhai alongside Higgins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hitech Pulse-Eight\u2019s Gabriel Stilp was the fastest Rookie and starts Sunday\u2019s race from tenth overall while Gustav Jonsson (Chris Dittmann Racing) was the highest qualified Rookie for today\u2019s Race One and started from ninth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louis Sharp converted his front row start position to a win, taking the lead in the opening lap. The race was red-flagged after three laps to recover two stricken cars but Sharp held the lead on the restart and stayed at the front to the flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noah Lisle charged hard, closing the gap, breaking the track race record lap after lap, taking the Motul Fastest Lap Award, and an additional championship point in the process. He finished 0.582 behind his team-mate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Guinchard\u2019s race was less smooth, dropping from fourth to fifth, then recovering on the restart to third. The star Rookie was Josh Irfan, who moved through the pack from 11th<\/sup> to seventh overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
