Unperturbed, the FreeM driver scythed his way through the field in the opening stages, quickly getting inside the top 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-src=\"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/f4r2-image2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3890 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/f4r2-image2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/f4r2-image2-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/f4r2-image2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/f4r2-image2-768x432.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 800px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 800\/450;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Just past the halfway point, Williams Esports\u2019 Moreno Sirica took too much kerb at the Roberts chicane (a common theme throughout Round 2\u2019s racing) and wobbled into the path of Ted Bradbury, spinning them both out of contention. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bradbury, who performed admirably in Race 2 at Brands Hatch to climb from 29<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;to sixth, continued on with damage, but Sirica\u2019s hopes for a points finish were dashed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With three laps to go, JHR by 29 eSports\u2019 Mutch was on the inside of both McKeown and Lad heading into Roberts, aiming to out-brake his rivals and claim second position. Further back, Round 1 winner Remy Gilbert bested Josh Poulain for eighth, marking a disappointing race for the erstwhile championship leaders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-race-2-nbsp\"><strong>Race 2<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start of the partially reversed Race 2, Gordie Mutch was in attack mode, pulling off a terrific move to sweep around the outside of SimRace Sweden eSports\u2019 Isak Arvidsson to take the lead on lap one.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Mutch was tapped at the chicane by pole-sitter Arvidsson, looping his car in front of the chasing pack. McKeown and Arvidsson took evasive action while Williams\u2019 Josh Lad emerged in the lead. A further incident at McLeans would send Lad to the tail end of the points scoring positions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident left Caruana, Berryman and Gilbert fighting it out for the win, with FreeM\u2019s James Armstrong and D\u00f6rr Esports\u2019 Lucas M\u00fcller&nbsp;also zeroing in on the battle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berryman and Caruana were engaged in an exciting duel for the lead, with Caruana slipstreaming the Northern Irishman towards the Roberts chicane on the final lap.
