Wera Tools, renowned for being the one of the world\u2019s leading screwdriving tool manufacturers, has been unveiled as the latest industry-leading brand to join the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA\u2019s roster of Official Partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1936, the iconic brand operates globally from its headquarters in Germany, with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their involvement in ROKiT British F4 as an Official Partner will see Wera kit out the Technical Centre from which the series\u2019 scrutineering team operate together with Neil Brown Engineering\u2019s engine operations to help ensure parity of performance across the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wera will also present a Technicians\u2019 Prize at each round aimed at encouraging the latest generation of talent off-track, as well as on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hugh Chambers, Motorsport UK Chief Executive Officer, said:<\/strong> \u201cOne of the key cornerstones to ROKiT British F4\u2019s success is the strength in depth of the technical department, ensuring a level playing field for each generation of new talent to prove themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe championship is crucial to single seater racing in the UK, not just for its ability to develop drivers, but also their technicians and engineers. Wera stand as a formidable force in British motorsport; they have been the Title Partner of the British Karting Championships for the past two seasons, and previously sponsored a pair of Motorbase-run Ford Focus challengers in the British Touring Car Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to back British F4\u2019s new era is not only a statement of intent for the series, but also marks Wera\u2019s first foray into single-seater racing. Their brand will adorn each competitor\u2019s car throughout the 2022 campaign, ensuring visibility in front of capacity trackside crowds and live, free-to-air ITV4 television coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 championship commences at Donington Park at the end of April and runs through until the finale at Brands Hatch in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edward Pearson (Virtuosi Racing), Aiden Neate, Daniel Guinchard (both Phinsys by Argenti), Carlin\u2019s Ugo Ugochukwu, Eduardo Coseteng and Daniel Mavlyutov (both Hitech GP) are the named drivers to date with more to be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
