He will remain with Hitech for 2025.

The transition from karting to single-seaters is always a challenging initiation, but by his second British F4 event, Bearman had started to hit his stride. In the second race of the season finale at Brands Hatch two weeks ago he finished in ninth place, taking the second step on the podium in the Rookies’ Cup. He started Race 3 from 15 th on the Grid and gained five places to take the chequered flag in P10, stepping onto the Rookies’ Podium for a second time and securing further Championship points to open his British F4 career tally.

At those two events, Bearman had the opportunity to race alongside and take inspiration from teammates Deagen Fairclough, the newly-crowned 2024 British F4 Champion, and Reza Seewooruthun, the other half of Hitech GP’s formidable duo, who finished third overall.

Prior to transitioning to single-seaters, Bearman has worked his way through the ranks in karting, competing in the British Karting Championship – Junior Rotax, UKC Karting Championship – Junior Rotax, RMC Euro Trophy – Senior Rotax, and BNL Karting Series – Senior Rotax. His progression mirrors that of his older brother, F1 driver Ollie Bearman, whose entry step from karts to cars was also Formula 4.

“I’m excited to be continuing with Hitech for the 2025 British F4 Championship for what will be my first full season of single-seater racing,” said Thomas Bearman. “During the two British F4 rounds and the Euro 4 event I really gained a lot of confidence and by the season finale in Brands Hatch I was feeling really at home in the car and the team.

“I can’t thank Hitech enough for guiding me through this step up to single-seaters, and racing with Deagen and Reza has been fantastic; it’s been great to watch and learn from them. They’ve set a high bar and this experience of working with them has been really motivating. I can’t wait to get into winter testing now and the hard work for next season starts there.”

“The step up to single-seaters can be a tough test, but we’re really pleased with the progress that Thomas has made in just two rounds of the 2024 British F4 Championship,” commented Dominic Stott, Hitech GP’s British F4 Championship Team Manager.

“There’s a lot to take on board in that first event but with the benefit of his second round Thomas had started to gain confidence and momentum,” he continued. “He’s been very fortunate to have two star mentors in Deagen Fairclough and Reza Seewooruthun during that time. They took him under their wing, which I’m pleased to say is very much the culture of the team, and it helped him settle in for what can often be an intimidating transition for young karters. We’re looking forward to seeing him maximise his potential as part of another strong line-up next year.”

Thomas Bearman is the first driver to be officially confirmed for the 2025 ROKiT British F4 Championship.
