{"id":7667,"date":"2025-01-10T09:01:51","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T09:01:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/?p=7667"},"modified":"2025-01-10T09:01:51","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T09:01:51","slug":"2025-announcement-2024-rookie-champ-molnar-returns-with-virtuosi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fiaformula4.com\/2025-announcement-2024-rookie-champ-molnar-returns-with-virtuosi\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Announcement: 2024 Rookie champ Moln\u00e1r returns with Virtuosi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Virtuosi Racing have announced the return of 16-year-old Martin Moln\u00e1r for their 2025 ROKiT British F4 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>After an impressive rookie season in 2024, which saw Martin claim the Rookie Cup title, the team say their aim is for even greater success this season as they target the drivers\u2019 championship.<\/p>\n<p>In his debut year, the Hungarian driver demonstrated remarkable consistency and race craft, securing five overall podiums, seven rookie wins, and 22 rookie podiums, finishing P8 in the overall driver standings.<\/p>\n<p>Under Virtuosi Racing\u2019s guidance, Martin grew significantly as a driver, honing his skills and confidence with every race weekend. His hard work and determination were further recognised with the Jake Cook Memorial Award, voted on by the Team Managers of the British F4 paddock. This prestigious award celebrates a driver\u2019s progress, determination, and sportsmanship\u2014qualities Martin displayed throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p>Martin will also compete in the F4 Middle East Championship with Evans GP during the winter, supported by Virtuosi Racing personnel, to gain further experience ahead of the 2025 British F4 season start.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to retain Martin for a second year in British F4,\u201d said Virtuosi Racing Team Principal Mark Salmon. \u201cAfter a successful rookie season in which he secured the Rookie Title, we\u2019re looking forward to fighting for the championship this year. We will continue to work closely with Martin, pushing him to achieve his goals and develop further as a driver. Having Martin return as a second-year driver will bring invaluable experience and knowledge to the entire team. We are confident that his presence will positively impact the team\u2019s development, and we are excited for what the season ahead will bring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martin shares the sentiment: \u201cI\u2019m really happy to continue with Virtuosi Racing this year, and I\u2019m excited to be racing again in such a prestigious championship as the British F4. I\u2019m looking forward to benefiting from the fact that I already know the team, the series, the car, and the tracks. We won\u2019t have to go through the team integration phase again this year, so we can start at a higher level and fight for victories from the first race.
