It therefore promises to be a captivating battle for supremacy.

Behind the top three, an almighty tussle to finish inside the top five is brewing with race winners Tommy Harfield (Chris Dittmann Racing), Argenti Motorsport team-mates August Raber and Ethan Jeff-Hall, and Adam Al Azhari (Rodin Motorsport) all blanketed by a handful of points.

Also featuring inside the top ten and not to be discounted is Fortec Motorsport’s Henry Joslyn – chasing a maiden win – and the rapid duo of Thomas Bearman (Hitech TGR) and Rowan Campbell-Pilling (JHR Developments), two other drivers to have triumphed in 2025.

Elsewhere, the Teams’ Cup is also set for a dramatic showdown as Hitech TGR and Rodin Motorsport go head-to-head for the title with just 29.5 points separating the two. Both will field a four-driver line-up once more this weekend; Rookie duo Xavier Avramides and Joseph Smith join team-mates McLaughlin and Bearman at Hitech, while Piszcyk and Al Azhari are again bolstered by Dries van Langendonck and Guy Albag at Rodin.

And though McLaughlin has already wrapped up the Rookie Cup, the battle remains for a spot in the top three. Bearman is looking comfortable currently with a 52.5-point cushion over third, but it’s certainly not a done deal as Xcel Motorsport duo Theo Palmer and Cole Hewetson can still challenge him, while a P3 finish is within the sights of both Avramides and Henry Mercier (Argenti Motorsport).

Race winner Chase Fernandez (Xcel Motorsport) will be eyeing a strong finish to his 2025 campaign, as will team-mate Yuhao Fu. Arjen Kräling (Argenti Motorsport), Oleksandr Savinkov (Virtuosi Racing), Piotr Orzechowski (Chris Dittmann Racing) and Haarni Sadiq (JHR Developments) complete the 23-strong grid.

Qualifying for the final C1RCUIT Watches Pole Position Award of the season takes place at 10:40 on Saturday, before the opening race gets underway later that afternoon at 13:55. Two more races – at 10:35 and 15:20 – will then play out on Sunday.

This weekend, fans worldwide can tune in to Saturday’s Race 1 live on the ITV Sport YouTube channel.
